Hey there!
We are a team of three indie developers, long time friends, and we've been working full-time on a new game called Time Survivors. It's an action-packed roguelite bullet hell game, developed on Unreal Engine 5: we're huge fans of bullet hell rogue lite games, so we decided to make one ourselves.

PS: the savegame of this standalone demo is not compatible with the Steam version; you can have both versions installed but the progresses will remain independent.

The Demo crashed before I could open it
Sorry to hear that. I had another similar report. Earlier today. I'd love to have a better idea of what hardware you are using; if you have time, you can just run "dxdiag" on the command line and snapshot the "System information" box and post it here. It shows the computer name, so be sure to cover that in case it's personal information you don't want to share.

Thanks! This Dell Optiplex 745 looks quite old, back to 2006... Could it be? I'm afraid we do not support it!
what do you do to vampire survivors? i dont remember it like this!
While Time Survivors is inspired by VS and other rogue-lite, and shares similarities in terms of game genre, it offers its own unique features and gameplay elements. Some of these unique aspects include:
- setting: travel through history (Medieval Age, Stone Age, Egyptian Age, Steampunk Age...) and unlock historic characters (Cleopatra, Lincoln, Tesla...)
- 25+ different enemies per stage, each unique to a particular stage of the game (eg: in the Stone Age stage we have TRex, Triceratops, Ptera, ...)
- animations in 2.5D and top performance with 1000s of enemies on screen (UE5)
- complex boss fights at mid tage and end stage, with its own attach patterns and abilities (eg: summoning his own minions)
- a stage extraction mechanism based on portals
- also: Time Survivors is much more difficult than VS...

game crash after one second after play, and im sure its not problem with my computer this game it's badly optimized, I've completed the entire Vampire Survivors game with no single bug or crash
Hi! I am sorry you had problems. This looks like a low level problem with Unreal Engine. Did you get a popup warning for old drivers or unsupported hardware. The engine does that sometimes.

it's not worth my time, now i'm playing other games from this site which are bigger have more content and are in 3d and as always they run smoothly without any delay, it's not in my interest to play this game it's your job, next time make optimizations because there is nothing in the settings except shake-screan and v-sync

Gotcha! Yes, we are working on it. But this is not something we came across in all our test on new and old hardware. Honestly nobody reported a crash before yesterday when you and someone else posted here. But the game is new, so I'm sure we will find more things to iron out!
